SHARP &  HANKINS NAVAL CARBINE

ARMED FEDERAL  CAVALRY ENLISTEDMAN TINTYPE CASED
This is an armed seated Union Enlistedman. Clear full view of this Federal Cavalry soldier holding his sword at his side with his brass epaulettes on his shoulders, gauntlets in his belt, and his Eagle sword plate clear and visible. His Hardee hat is sitting on the table next to his elbow. Has crossed sabers and large letter "A" on Hardee hat. Tintype measures  3 3/4 inches X 3 inches. Is housed in a very ornate floral designed gutta percha case that is completely intact.

TINTYPE UNION ENLISTED ARTILLERY SOLDIER w/SWORD
Nice Sixth Plate tintype of an enlisted Artillery soldier knees up in a seated position. Clutching his Enlisted Artillery sword in one hand. In his shell jacket and wearing his Cavalry "Eagle" sword belt with plate. Image is clear with a couple of places where the emulsion has been scratched but fortunately none are on the actual picture itself. Housed in a full leather case. Nice clear image of the average soldier during the war.

M1860 CAVALRY SWORD (EMERSON & SILVER) 1864
This is an Emerson & Silver Model 1860 Enlisted Cavalry saber and scabbard. Sword is in very good condition. Leather wrap and twisted brass wire are complete with no wear or damage. Brass pommel cap and guard have a nice dull uncleaned and untouched yellow patina to them with no bends or damage to either piece. Nice tight fit with no looseness to be found. Blade is a  smooth mottled gray color with no nicks or damage at all. Scabbard is complete and the iron is a dark brown color. Both sword hangers and rings  as well as throat are in excellent  condition. Dated 1864 with all markings on both sides of ricasso visibly present. Retains it's original leather washer. Nice example of the most popular and heavily used model Cavalry saber used during the Civil War.

UNION PERCUSSION CAP BOX w/Caps
Nice all original Civil War pistol percussion cap box. Leather is nice and supple with no crazing or cracking. Both attachment straps are complete as is closure tab and "dog ears" on inner flap. No manufacturer's name is embossed into the leather anywhere on this example. Missing wool but still retains about a dozen original percussion caps. Nice solid example in very good condition.
